It's getting near the AGM.  Where did that year go?  How about joining the committee?  It's a terrific way to learn more about Landcare, and social of course. Sometimes getting more involved really enriches our experiences of an organisation and it's a good opportunity to help steer the organisation and be part of the planning.

We had a terrific Long Lunch, a talk on the importance of BioLink corridors, protecting the river bank and the impact on biodiversity.  The walk was along the corridor that resulted from the significant hard work by three members and grants from the State Government.   Thanks for the talk go to Libby Peck and Ian Temby.  I learnt a lot, and anyway it was a beautiful day for a river walk,

Summer seems to be on the way out before it really arrived.  But the committee has been busy and we have some good events coming up.  Do come along.

    •   On February 27th at 2.30pm , we are holding a Biolinks Workshop, at Marsh Court Reserve.  This will be a Workshop followed by afternoon tea.  The planning workshop will focus on how we can work together to protect and enhance our local biodiversity.  It will be lead by  Krista Patterson- Majoor - the Macedon Ranges Shire Council's Environment officer.  Krista has excellent experience in this field.
